Our vest is designed to contour to your body - it needs to sit really snugly against you, no gaps - so that the weights sit close to your body and do not move when you walk. With just a central zip and stretch material there are no straps to cinch in hence why we suggest you follow your usual UK upper body dress or jacket size and allow the vest to slightly stretch to fit you.
Sizing starts at XS (UK 8), recommended for petite frames, narrow shoulders and slim build. Choose size S if you have slightly broader shoulders, some bust and/or slender build. Size M is better suited to women who tend to carry some weight around their waist or are broader in the shoulders/back i.e. would wear a UK12 jacket. For larger bust, and weight carried around the stomach consider L/XL.
We recommend wearing only a thin base layer, vest top, t-shirt or sports bra underneath. If you want to wear another layer like a coat, we advise wearing this over your vest not underneath it so you can wear the vest in summer or when working hard without getting too hot.

TALLER WOMEN
Our sizes do get slightly longer as the sizes go up.
Currently we offer both Small (UK10) in a standard and a longer version. For women minimum 5 feet 7 or 5 feet 8 and taller you can choose either the S (Long) size which may wear more like a gilet, or for a more fitness look choose the standard S for a shorter more cropped style.
For women requiring a S (UK10) whose height is below 5 feet 7 (or 5 feet 7 women with shorter upper body and longer legs) we recommend the standard S to ensure the weights sit above the hips.
